The MetGovis ladies had the pleasure of attending the Pietermaritzburg & Midlands Chamber of Business (PMCB) Women in Business Luncheon 2026 on Friday, 31 July.
Held at the PMB Showgrounds, this inspiring event brought together women from across the business community for an afternoon of connection, celebration and motivation.
The keynote speaker, Londy Ngcobo – The Blaqmermaid, shared her remarkable journey as a former ship navigator and Africa’s first female Dredge Master. Her story of breaking barriers, navigating challenges and creating her own path was a powerful reminder of what is possible when women lead with courage and determination.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for our team to connect with fellow businesswomen, celebrate women’s achievements and be inspired by the incredible women making their mark in their respective industries.
At MetGovis, we are proud to support and celebrate women in business and the positive impact they make every day.
